The community turned out in a big way for this year’s McHappy Day fundraiser at McDonald’s, helping raise nearly $11,000 for families in need.
General Manager Chris DeSousa said the restaurant was busy throughout the day as residents stopped in to buy food, donate money and volunteer their time.
This year, the Napanee restaurant raised $10,950!
The fundraiser also featured live music in the restaurant lobby by the Fred Brown Band, including performances from some staff members.
DeSousa thanked employees and residents for making the fundraiser another success.
