The Napanee Raiders celebrated another successful PJHL season during the team’s 2026 awards banquet, recognizing top players, volunteers and graduating overage players.
myFM had the pleasure of handing out two honourary awards ourselves, one to Trent Williams for his precision at avoiding the questions and cameras all season long, and a second to Reid Lambert for being voted by his teammates in our player profile interviews, as the teammate everyone would want with on a deserted island. Photo’s of both awards can be found on our Facebook page.
The club’s highest honour, the President’s Award, was shared by forward Andrew Carr and goaltender Jacob Brown.
Carr earned the award after leading the Raiders in scoring during the regular season while recording six game-winning goals. Coaches praised his hard-working style and ability to create turnovers and offense in key moments.
Brown was recognized for his standout season in net after posting 18 wins and a 2.38 goals-against average. Team officials said his calm play and reliable positioning helped keep the Raiders competitive throughout the year. He was also named the division’s Goaltender of the Year.
Captain Reid Lambert received multiple honours during the evening, including the Harold Webster Memorial Award for leadership and the George Magold Memorial Award as the team’s best teammate, voted on by players.
Other major winners included Carr, Beb Kerr and Trent Williams as regular season scoring leader, and Tanner Hawkins as the team’s most sportsmanlike player.
The banquet also paid tribute to the Raiders’ graduating overage players. Two were unable to attend, Cole Campbell and Jobey Pearson.
Defenseman Jackson Barnes thanked the organization for making Napanee feel like home.
Forward Andrew Carr reflected on the support from fans, teammates and volunteers during his three seasons with the club after joining “randomly”.
Reid Lambert, who spent five seasons with the Raiders and served as captain this year, thanked the community and his family for their support.
