Loyalist Township is welcoming visitors back to several historic sites for the 2026 summer season, offering a chance to explore local history from May 14 to August 23.
The Bath Museum & Visitor Centre, Fairfield Gutzeit House and Babcock Mill will reopen with exhibits, artifacts and interactive programming. The Bath museum, located in the former 1861 town hall, highlights the area’s history from early Indigenous presence to the World Wars.
The Fairfield Gutzeit House, built in 1796, offers a look at more than 200 years of life in Bath through preserved furnishings and artifacts. In Odessa, Babcock Mill showcases early industry and will host family-friendly Exploration Days in July and August.
Additional sites, including the Neilson Store Museum on Amherst Island and Fairfield House in Amherstview, will also open later in the season.
Township officials encourage residents and visitors to explore the sites and take part in summer programming.
