It’s smile cookie week! From April 27 to May 3, Tim Hortons is selling their delicious chocolate chunk cookies with a blue and pink smiley face in support of local charities and organizations.
In Greater Napanee, funds are going to support the L&A County General Hospital Foundation. But if you’re out on a road trip and stop at an OnRoute, you’ll have the chance to support another local organization… The Ontario SPCA!
myFM spoke with Sara Vanderveer, Community Outreach Coordinator with the L&A Animal Centre, who told us OnRoute locations locally and in Trenton (North and South), Ingersoll, and Woodstock, are all supporting the OSPCA.
Funds raised through the campaign will support OSPCA Animal Centres across the province, including here in Greater Napanee.
At a local level, funds will help improve the lives of animals in their care, waiting for their forever homes.
Another way to support the L&A OSPCA is by volunteering.
As kitten season ramps up, the centre is getting read to host a Kitten Shower! More details on this event are available on their Facebook page.
