People across eastern Ontario will soon be able to step inside the world of the Royal Canadian Navy — no commitment required.
HMCS Cataraqui is hosting a “Sailor for a Day” open house on Saturday, April 25, offering a rare hands-on look at Naval Reserve life at the Kingston unit.
Recruiting officer Lt. Kieran McDonald says the goal is to give the public an authentic experience, not just a sales pitch.
Lt. Mcdonald says visitors will be able to meet serving members, learn about part-time and full-time opportunities, and explore the wide range of roles available in the Navy.
