A heads up for those planning a trip to Picton soon.
Paid parking is set to return in Picton beginning April 1, 2026, with fees in effect through November 30.
The County says payment will be required on downtown streets and in the Market Lane parking lot from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays. Drivers can pay using coins, credit cards, non-PIN debit, or through the Passport Parking App.
A two-hour limit will apply to street parking, while no time limit is set for Market Lane. Free parking remains available at municipal lots on King Street and Mary Street.
Two-hour limits also take effect April 1 in Wellington, though parking remains free there and in Bloomfield.
Accessible permit holders and Ontario veteran plate vehicles can park for free but must follow posted time limits.
