Prince Edward County OPP have charged one person following an intimate partner violence incident on March 18, 2026. Officers responded to a dispute at a residence around 11:40 p.m.
The accused faces multiple charges, including two counts of mischief, cruelty to animals causing unnecessary pain or injury, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The individual’s name has been withheld to protect the victim’s identity. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date.
