The Napanee Writers Festival is returning for its fourth year in Napanee on April 4th, expanding to include visual artists alongside local authors.
Organized by the Napanee Writers Forum, the event continues to support literacy, with all proceeds going to Kingston Literacy and Skills – Napanee Division.
Since launching in 2023, the festival has grown quickly, moving from a small office space to larger venues. This year, it will be held at the Napanee Golf and Country Club to allow for more exhibitors and visitors.
The 2026 festival will feature 12 visual artists and 14 authors, offering book signings and art displays. Several participants, including Sherry Pringle and Grace Vanderzande, will showcase both writing and artwork.
Community groups like the Lennox and Addington Public Library will also take part.
Organizers say the event continues to grow as a celebration of creativity and community.
