Families in Lennox and Addington County will have new ways to explore history at the Museum of Lennox & Addington starting this month.
The museum is launching Captain Curator, an interactive puzzle adventure that encourages participants of all ages to solve clues, explore galleries, and help recover missing artifacts. The program promotes teamwork, curiosity, and hands-on engagement with local history.
In addition, the museum is introducing themed birthday party packages. Party options include History Mysteries, a clue-solving exploration of the museum, and Dig into Fun, a hands-on archaeology experience that lets children discover artifacts in a playful setting.
The museum says these new offerings aim to create memorable and meaningful experiences for families while making local history accessible and engaging for young visitors.
Bookings for Captain Curator and birthday parties are now open, with Saturday time slots available. Advance reservations are required to participate in the programs.
