Reduced load restrictions will take effect in Greater Napanee starting March 2, 2026.
The Town of Greater Napanee says vehicles will not be allowed to carry loads over five tonnes per axle on roads marked with reduced-load signs during the restriction period. The seasonal limits are put in place each spring to help protect local roads from damage as temperatures rise and roadbeds soften.
Drivers who exceed the posted limits could face fines.
Those needing to move heavier loads must apply for a permit from the Town before travelling on restricted roads.
More information about the rules and permit process is available in the Reduced Load Restrictions section of the Town of Greater Napanee’s website.
