Bath residents will soon have more access to primary care after Loyalist Township council approved new physician recruitment agreements this week.
Council authorized agreements with four family physicians as part of its ongoing physician recruitment program, aimed at improving access to local health care.
One of those doctors will be joining the Bath Family Clinic beginning Feb. 2, 2026. The clinic is located at 220 Main St. in Bath and operates as both a family practice and walk-in clinic.
The Bath Family Clinic offers a range of services, including family medicine, medical notes, physicals, and WSIB forms. Patients can also access TB testing, immunizations, driver medicals, and referrals to medical specialists. A pharmacy is located on-site, allowing patients to fill prescriptions in the same location.
Clinic officials say they are now accepting patient registrations. Residents looking for a family doctor can register online through the clinic’s website.
Township officials say attracting physicians remains a key priority as communities across the region face ongoing doctor shortages.
