Ontario Parks is currently accepting applications for summer students, offering hundreds of seasonal job opportunities across the province.
Each year, Ontario Parks employs about 1,600 students to help protect natural spaces and welcome visitors at provincial parks, spanning the shores of Lake Erie to northern Ontario.
Positions are available in a variety of roles, including gate attendants, maintenance workers, discovery rangers, park store clerks, and administrative support.
Most jobs are entry-level and designed to help students build skills, gain work experience, and work as part of a team in an outdoor setting. Applicants must be at least 15 years old, eligible to work in Canada, and either currently enrolled in school or recently graduated.
Applications are open now, with hiring continuing through the spring until positions are filled. Students are encouraged to apply early for the best chance to work at their preferred park.
Those interested can find full job descriptions, eligibility requirements, and application instructions through Ontario Parks’ website.
