Cupcake Day is back, inviting people across the region to bake, sell and fundraise in support of animals in need through the Ontario SPCA.
Sara Vanderveer shared with myFM Cupcake Day is an organization-wide fundraiser that encourages individuals, groups and bakeries to raise money for their local animal centre. Participants can register online, create a team and run their own fundraiser.
Fundraisers can also compete for prizes, including gift cards for top individual, youth and team fundraisers, along with special contests for bakeries.
All money raised goes directly to helping animals.
A local Cupcake Day adoption event will take place Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Paulmac’s Pets in Napanee. Residents are encouraged to follow the Ontario SPCA on social media for updates and contest details.
