A traffic stop in Prince Edward County has resulted in impaired driving-related charges.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers from the Prince Edward County OPP detachment stopped a vehicle on County Road 10 at about 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Following an investigation, 24-year-old Rasneil George Warren of Prince Edward County was arrested and charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand for a breath sample.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on Jan. 14. As part of the charges, Warren’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle involved was impounded for seven days.
