The Holiday Smile Cookies are back at Tim Hortons in Napanee and across the country!
myFM spoke with Napanee Tim Hortons Owner Mike Campbell, who let us know the cookies are available beginning Monday, November 17th,
Again this year, funds raised through this campaign are going to be split towards Tim’s Camps and the Napanee Salvation Army. Last year, the holiday smile cookie campaign raised over $15,000, which was split between the two charities.
Abby Mills, Director of Community Ministries, let us know they’re honoured to be benefitting from the campaign again this year.
The Salvation Army Food Bank has seen an increase in new users over the last 5-years, and now with the current financial climate, families are struggling even more.
Mike says it means a lot to himself and his wife Chantalle to give back to the community in this way.
Mike also reminds the community their downtown location on Dundas St is still closed for renovations. You can buy your smile cookies at their Centre St N and Community Rd locations.
The downtown location is set to reopen on November 25th.
