Holiday magic is returning to Odessa this season as Torrent Productions brings Jack and the BeansTalk – A Merry Magical Pantomime to The Hall at Emmanuel United Church. The family-friendly show opens Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. and runs for 15 performances until Jan. 4, 2026.
myFM spoke with writer and directed Rob Torr, and choreographer Stephanie Graham, the husband-and-wife team behind Torrent Productions. They told us this play will feature Jack, who may face some trials and tribulations, but his friends are there to help him on his way.
The lively production promises plenty of laughs, music, and surprises. Viewers can expect songs, audience participation, and all the fun of a traditional pantomime.

Torrent Productions, founded in 2008, has a long history of professional theatre across Canada, including last years production of Cinderella – A Merry Magical Pantomime in Odessa.
Rob and Stephanie now call Lennox and Addington County home, and want to bring this tradition and joy to the community.
