Belleville police are investigating a serious head-on collision that sent three people to hospital early Sunday morning.
The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Old Highway 2 near Burns Drive, close to the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory border. A Honda Civic and a Chevy Cruze were involved. Police say the Honda was travelling east at a high speed when it crossed into the westbound lane and collided with the Chevy.
Three people were taken to hospital, including one in critical condition. Two others suffered minor injuries.
