On Thursday, Sept. 18, McDonald’s locations in Napanee and Kingston donated 50 cents from every medium, large, and extra-large hot beverage sold to the Alzheimer Society of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington.
Fundraising Volunteer Coordinator, Michelle Moore talks about how the response from the public has been.
The one-day fundraiser marks World Alzheimer’s Day, shining a spotlight on the growing need for support for people living with dementia and their families.
Moore also explains how you can still help even if you weren’t able to make it down.
Money raised will stay in the KFL&A region, supporting local programs and services.
