The Town of Greater Napanee has opened applications for its new Community Initiatives Fund, a municipal grant program designed to support local projects and events.
The fund offers up to $15,000 each year, with two intake periods providing $7,500 each. Community groups and organizations can apply for funding to help initiatives that benefit residents and strengthen the community.
The program is supported by Atura Power, owners and operators of the Napanee Generating Station, through community benefit contributions. Eligible projects must align with Atura Power’s criteria and focus on areas such as community safety, health and well-being, the environment, recreation, housing, or arts, culture and heritage.
Applications for the fall intake are due October 31, 2025, with successful applicants expected to be notified in November.
More information and application forms are available on the Town of Greater Napanee’s Community Initiatives Fund webpage.
