The Greater Napanee community is invited to take part in the annual Terry Fox Run this Sunday, September 14, in support of cancer research.
This year marks the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope and the 43rd year of the event in Greater Napanee.
Joanne Haffie has been involved in the Napanee run since the very beginning. It then became even more meaningful when her 4-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia.
Haffie describes her son as a “walking miracle”.
Greater Napanee is the small town with a big heart, always stepping up to support this important cause.
The Greater Napanee Terry Fox Run will begin from the Pavilion in Conservation Park. Registration opens at 9am with the run beginning at 9:30am.
