The Greater Napanee CIBC branch is marking a major milestone, celebrating 50 years of serving the community.
The branch first opened its doors on August 8, 1975, in the Napanee Mall.
myFM spoke with Branch Manager, Joanna Stella, who says the branch has seen many changes over the decades, having stayed in their original location
The mall itself has also transformed, shifting from a traditional indoor shopping centre to a series of separate stores.
Over the years, staff at the Napanee branch have been active in the community, volunteering with local organizations and supporting national initiatives like the CIBC Run for the Cure, which raises funds for breast cancer research.
To celebrate, the branch is hosting an open house on Wednesday, September 10 from 9:30 to 11 a.m.,
