The holiday means that we’re looking at some closures around the region as people take in the last long-weekend of the summer.
Government offices at the municipal, provincial and federal levels are shut down across the board. That means no town hall, provincial or federal business until next Tuesday. Don’t expect any mail on Monday either.
Some beer stores across our listening area will be open but LCBO’s will be closed.
Many convenience stores carry beer, mixed drinks and wine as do many grocery stores in the region. They will be open as will LCBO agency stores.
Many grocery stores are open on reduced hours. Take note of the hours posted on the doors if you’re out and about.
Municipal services like libraries and childcare centres are also closed on Holiday Monday.
