The Bath Museum is bringing back its popular Culture Talks series this fall, offering three evenings of music, history, and little-known Canadian stories.
The monthly events will run from September to November at the museum on Main Street in Bath, each from 6 to 7 p.m. Admission is $3 per person, with limited seating available.
The series begins September 8 with An Evening of Songs and Stories featuring songwriter Stephen Bruce Medd, known for his historical ballads and spoken word pieces inspired by Canadian history and social issues.
On October 14, local historian and author David More will present Schooner Women, the story of female sailors who challenged Victorian-era maritime traditions on the Great Lakes.
The series wraps up November 10 with Tales of WWII, as author Sherry Pringle shares powerful wartime accounts from Lennox and Addington County.
The Bath Museum is operated by Loyalist Township and is dedicated to preserving and sharing the region’s history. More information is available at loyalist.ca/historyandheritage.
