Communities across L&A are getting ready to celebrate Canada’s 158th birthday in style on July 1.
In Greater Napanee, festivities start with a firefighters pancake breakfast at Best & Bash Arena, followed by a car show, pony rides, face painting, music by DJ Digital Mike, and fireworks at 10 p.m.
Bath’s big day kicks off with a firefighter breakfast at the Bath Fire Hall, a vendor market, kids zone with inflatables, games, and the Red and White Parade at 1 p.m. Firefighters foam fun is set for 3 p.m.
Tamworth will host a pancake breakfast, soapbox derby, kids parade, live music from Texas Tuxedo, and fireworks at 10pm at the ball park.
Newburgh marks the day with a bicycle parade, corn hole tournament, cardboard boat races, and fireworks at dusk, along with classic firefighter food.
L&A County invites everyone to join in and celebrate Canadian pride.
