After more than three decades, police have charged a man in connection with the 1991 murder of Angelien Josephine Quesnelle from Apsley, Ontario.
Quesnelle, 40, was reported missing on October 9, 1991. She was last seen two days earlier in Peterborough. Her vehicle was later found in an abandoned quarry near Ridge Road and Highway 620, east of Coe Hill. Several of her personal items were recovered nearby.
Her body was discovered by a hunter on November 15, 1991, on McCoy Bay Road. A postmortem confirmed her death was a homicide.
On June 19, 2025, Ontario Provincial Police arrested 70-year-old David Alexander Snow of Bath and charged him with first degree murder. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on August 12.
The case was investigated by the Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
