A Greater Napanee man is facing impaired driving charges after police say he was caught pouring alcohol into a cup in a business parking lot.
Lennox and Addington OPP were called to the scene on Wednesday, June 18, just before 5 p.m., after a concerned citizen reported suspicious behaviour. Officers found the vehicle and arrested the driver on site.
At the detachment, breath tests revealed the driver’s blood alcohol level was nearly four times the legal limit.
35-year-old Brady Bowen has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with over 80 milligrams of alcohol.
As a result, Bowen’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on July 8, 2025.
