Six people are facing charges after Belleville Police made several arrests during a major drug bust on June 5 in the city’s east end.
The investigation, led by Project Renewal, resulted in a search warrant being executed with help from the K9 Unit and Emergency Response Unit. Officers seized 27.1 grams of cocaine, 3.2 grams of crystal meth, three cell phones, an electronic Taser, and $1,090 in cash.
62-years-old Robert Baldwin of Deseronto, and 63-years-old David Alderdice, 54-years-old Larry White, 49-years-old Karen Holley, and 73-years-old Kathleen Armstrong of Belleville were all charged with drug trafficking-related offences. 52-years-old Rose Parker of Belleville is facing additional charges, including unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Police say the charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine, and possession of property obtained by crime.
All six were released on undertakings with future court dates.
