Ontario Provincial Police in Lennox and Addington County charged three drivers with impaired offences in just three days, including cases involving drugs, alcohol, and a stolen vehicle.
On Friday, May 30, 2025, officers arrested 25-year-old Cherokee Ferrill of Tyendinaga after spotting a damaged vehicle driving erratically in Greater Napanee. Ferrill faces seven charges, including impaired driving, obstructing police, and probation violations.
The next day, May 31, police stopped a delivery driver on River Road. Andrew Walker, 38, of Kingston, was arrested after breath tests revealed blood alcohol levels four times the legal limit. The accused faces two impaired charges and was released with a June 17 court date.
On Sunday, June 1, police found a man asleep in a stolen vehicle in a business parking lot. Andrew Newton, 25, of Prescott, was charged with impaired driving by drug and vehicle theft.
Two suspects were held for bail.
