A 19-year-old Marlbank man has been charged after a reported sexual assault at a provincial park in Prince Edward County.
Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to the call around 9 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025. Officers arrested the suspect the same day following an investigation. The man now faces two charges: sexual assault and sexual assault causing bodily harm — specifically by choking, suffocating, or strangling.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
Police are not releasing further details in order to protect the identity of the victim.
