Lennox and Addington County is updating its 2014 Transportation Master Plan to guide road and transportation improvements for the next 20 years. The plan will focus on future growth, safety, traffic issues, and support for active travel like walking and cycling.
The update is following the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process and includes studies on current and future transportation needs, speed management, intersection improvements, and road safety.
Residents are invited to get involved by filling out an online survey and attending a public meeting. The survey closes on June 20, 2025.
The second Public Information Centre will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the County Courthouse, 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee. County officials want public feedback on intersection upgrades and active transportation options.
The Transportation Master Plan will help decide which projects to prioritize and how to improve travel across the region.
