Three people are facing serious charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant in Greater Napanee on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
The East Region Community Street Crime Unit, along with the Tactics and Response Unit, searched a home on Palace Road. Inside, officers found over 32 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a loaded .22 caliber rifle, more than 350 rounds of ammunition, and nearly $3,000 in cash.
Matthew Lessard, 36, and Kiersha White, 35, both of Greater Napanee, and Douglas Wood, 36, of Belleville, were arrested. All three are charged with drug trafficking, weapons offences, and possession of crime proceeds.
Lessard and Wood face extra charges for breaking probation and failing to follow an undertaking. White was also charged with failing to comply with probation.
All three suspects remain in custody and appeared in court for a bail hearing on May 16 in Greater Napanee.
