UPDATE: A North Bay resident has been charged after police investigated the death of a woman in Odessa.
On April 30, 2025, Lennox and Addington OPP were called to a home on Potter Drive, where a 30-year-old woman was found dead. A postmortem exam showed no signs of foul play.
On May 2, a man was arrested in Napanee in connection with injuries the woman had suffered before her death. Police also recovered her vehicle.
Kyle St. Louis, 32, has been charged with assault and assault with a weapon. He also has outstanding warrants in another area.
St. Louis remains in custody and is set to appear virtually for a bail hearing in Napanee on May 5, 2025.

Original Article May 2nd, 10:07am: The Lennox and Addington County OPP is investigating the sudden death of a 30-year-old woman in Odessa.
Officers were called to a residence on Potter Drive shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, where the woman was found deceased.
A postmortem examination has confirmed there are no signs of foul play. However, police say the investigation remains ongoing as they work to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the death.
Investigators are looking to speak with an individual who may have been involved in an earlier incident related to the deceased. Police believe there is no threat to public safety at this time.
