One youth has been charged and another warned after a break-in at a railway building in Greater Napanee.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, just before 6:00 p.m., Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to a call from Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway Police. Two people were spotted trying to break into a building next to the railway tracks on Pine Grove Road.
When police arrived, two youths fled the scene on foot. Officers discovered damage inside the building. The identities of the youths were confirmed, and the investigation was handed over to CPKC Railway Police. One youth was charged while the other received a warning.
Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the names of the individuals involved cannot be released.
