The Museum of Lennox and Addington is celebrating May is Museum Month with a variety of fun and educational events for all ages. From creative art workshops to engaging history talks, there’s something for everyone this spring.
Events begin Thursday, May 1, with a Springtime Circle Vision Board Workshop ($10), encouraging participants to reflect and set seasonal goals. On Saturday, May 3, kids aged 7+ can attend the Kids & Canines Dog Training Workshop, where they’ll learn basic dog training skills—completely free with pre-registration.
On Tuesday, May 13, Dr. Brooke Cameron of Queen’s University will lead a talk on British Home Children in Canada. The month wraps up Friday, May 30, with a fun P.A. Day Button Puppy Prints art activity and a drop-in Museum Inclusive program designed for sensory-friendly experiences.
