Re-elected MP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes Michael Barrett says Pierre Poilievre still has his support, despite losing in his home riding of Carleton.
Barrett points to the record-tying number of candidates on the ballot to the results in Carleton.
The four-time MP says that his party, under Poilievre’s leadership, will continue hold the goverment accountable.
Poilievre fell to Liberal Bruce Fanjoy in his riding of Carleton.
