Shelby Kramp-Neuman has been re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Hastings-Lennox and Addington-Tyendinaga.
When speaking with media from her election night party, Kramp Neuman shared it was a phenomenal campaign, saying “we had all wheels running from the get-go.”
Though it was a short campaign, Kramp-Neuman shared there was a wide array of issues heard from constituents when knocking on doors that she’ll be taking with her back to Ottawa.
Speaking before the official results came in, Kramp-Neuman commented on the potential of a Liberal government win and her partnerships as the official opposition.
As of 1:15am, Kramp-Neuman of the Conservative’s secured 56.3% of votes, with Liberal candidate Tracey Sweeney Schenk second with 38%.
The NDP’s Ava Duffy placed third, the Green Party of Canada’s Michael Holbrook placed fourth, and the People’s Party of Canada’s Zaid Yusufani finished fifth.
