Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a theft from a commercial property in Picton and believe the suspects may have targeted the same location before.
Officers from the Prince Edward County detachment received a call around noon on April 21, 2025, reporting a break-in at a business on McDonald Drive. Investigators say unknown suspects stole various tools and a quantity of copper wire.
Police believe the theft happened sometime between April 20 and April 21. They also suspect it may be linked to a similar theft at the same location in September 2024.
The OPP is asking anyone with dashcam footage or who may have seen suspicious activity, vehicles, or pedestrians in the area to contact police at 1-888-310-1122. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
