As Easter weekend arrives, Greater Napanee residents are reminded of schedule changes to accommodate holiday closures.
Government offices are closed on Good Friday, April 18, and Easter Monday, April 21. The same goes for LCBO and Beer Store locations, which will also close on Sunday. However, alcohol is still available at convenience stores.
There will be no garbage and recycling collection on Friday. Friday’s collection is pushed to Monday. Here is the Greater Napanee collection calendar for reference.
Most major stores, including Walmart, No Frills, Metro, and Giant Tiger, will be closed Friday and Sunday. Shoppers Drug Mart locations will stay open, though hours may vary. The Foodland in Amherstview is open both Friday and Sunday.
