A driver from Quebec is facing multiple charges, including impaired driving, after Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle in Stone Mills Township on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Lennox and Addington County OPP pulled over a vehicle around 9:00 p.m. on County Road 4 near County Road 14. After an investigation, officers charged 35-year-old Joshua Lachance of Murdocville, Quebec with impaired driving and several other offences.
Charges include operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol, driving with over 80 mg of alcohol in his system, failing to stop at a stop sign, driving an unsafe vehicle, having cannabis readily available, and driving with an open container of liquor.
Lachance was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 25, 2025. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded.
