A Gananoque resident is facing impaired driving and dangerous operation charges after crashing into a ditch on Highway 49 in Tyendinaga Township.
Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to the scene on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, just before 2:00 a.m. Officers found a single vehicle in a ditch south of Highway 401.
Police arrested 30-year-old Taylor McDonnell and charged them with:
- Operation while impaired – drug
- Dangerous operation
As a result of the charges, McDonnell’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded.
McDonnell was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 25, 2025.
