The Napanee Lion’s Club has donated $7,238 to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital (LACGH) Foundation to help buy new surgical equipment.
The funds were raised during the club’s New Year’s Eve dance and will support the purchase of a gastroscope for the hospital’s surgical department. The foundation is also fundraising for a colonoscope to improve patient care.
Napanee Lion’s Club President Shelley Free (left) and Past-President Mike Gosse (center) presented the cheque to Amanda Chalk, the foundation’s coordinator.
Community members can still contribute to the fundraiser by visiting www.lacghfoundation.com or calling 613-354-3301 ext. 400.
