Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4, Greater Napanee, Loyalist Township and L&A County will enforce seasonal load restrictions to protect roads during the spring thaw.
Trucks and trailers over five tonnes per axle are banned from select roads. Violators may face fines.
The town recognizes that some businesses and residents may need to transport heavier loads. Anyone requiring an exemption must apply for a permit through the municipality.
