Snow clearing crews have been working around the clock to get our roads ready for drivers.
They’ve concentrated on the major routes first, then work their way down through the towns and rural areas.
With the amount of snow we got, just over 30 cm in most spots, the clean up is expected to take a little longer than normal.
Lennox and Addington County and other municipalities have declared a significant weather event, allowing for more time to clear the snow.
With another 30 cm of snow possible this weekend, according to the Weather Network, those weather events, and clearing efforts are expected to last well into last week.
Family Day on Monday will mean fewer drivers on the roads though, giving workers some space.
