Tri-Board Transportation reports that due to the ongoing winter storm, all school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services area today.
Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

That being said, Greater Napanee and the surrounding area remains under a snowfall warning that will continue into today. Environment Canada is forecasting total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm, with peak snowfall rates reaching 2 to 4 cm per hour. Poor visibility is expected in heavy snow, along with a risk of freezing rain near Lake Ontario.
Areas from Northumberland County to Kingston may experience freezing rain early this morning, further complicating travel conditions.
Snow will gradually taper off late Thursday morning or early Thursday afternoon, but rapidly accumulating snow could make travel challenging, particularly during rush hour. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and prepare for difficult road conditions.
