The declaration of a Significant Weather Event is still in place. Yesterday’s event has ended but we are expecting freezing conditions overnight and additional snow accumulation of 25-35 cm over the next 72 hours.
Crews are continuing to maintain roads in an effort to keep all roads clear and passable. Road conditions within Greater Napanee vary from fair to poor at times.
Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution. Sidewalks normally maintained may be snow and ice covered. Pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of these conditions while walking.
Please refrain from on street parking as much as possible to allow municipal crews to remove the snow.
Please be patient and cautious as snow removal operations will be ongoing over the next several days.
