A new event is giving local women a chance to have fun while supporting a good cause. Ladies’ Night Out is set for Saturday, Feb. 8, from 6-10pm at the Best And Bash Arena in Napanee. The cost is just $15.00 at the door and the doors open at 6pm sharp.
The event is organized by a group of artisan vendors who decided to create their own event to bring in crowds and raise money for charity. They chose to support Lennox and Addington Interval House, a shelter for women and their children fleeing violence.
myFM spoke with Kelly Clayton-Budd, who told us there’s lots to do and experience, including a free, 360° photo booth.
There will also be hand massages, psychic readings, and a tattoo artist and piercer will also be on-site. Kingston’s Drag Queen Rowena Whey will host the event and perform three skits.
The night also features a massive raffle with prizes like Coach purses, gift cards, and boat cruise tickets. Hors d’oeuvres will be served with a cash bar open. And there will be swag bags for the first 50 guests add to the excitement!
Absolutely everyone is welcome to attend weather you’re choosing to go comfy in your PJ’s or are dressed to the nines with your tiara.
With strong community support, organizers have already planned a second event for Sept. 20. So stay tuned for more details!
