Loyalist Township has announced that Back Beach is open for public use from until September 1st, under specific conditions.
Motorized vehicles, including ATVs, dirt bikes, and dune buggies, are prohibited, and all vehicles must park in designated areas.
Camping, fires, hunting, and firearms are not allowed on the beach. Visitors may only use the beach during the designated period, and the area is unsupervised, so users do so at their own risk.
Guests are encouraged to keep the beach clean by disposing of trash in provided receptacles or taking it with them. The use of the beach for sleeping or storing personal belongings is also prohibited.
The Township has implemented additional rules for safety, cleanliness, and the appearance of the beach, including a ban on cutting or damaging trees and the consumption of alcohol.
Please note that the Township reserves the right to update rules as necessary.
