Three people face 39 charges after police seized over $6 million in illegal drugs, weapons, and cash in a major bust in Ottawa and Prince Edward County.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Ottawa Police Service (OPS), and other units launched “Project MIDFIELD” in September to tackle drug trafficking linked to Ottawa, Eastern Ontario, and the Greater Toronto Area. On November 27, four search warrants were executed in Ottawa and Milford.
Police seized 47 kilograms of suspected cocaine, 250 grams of psilocybin, and over 100 pounds of illicit cannabis. A firearm, body armour, drug trafficking tools, and $6,810 in cash were also found.
Two accused, Dylan Graham, 37, and Kaylee Diotte, 22, face 18 charges each, including trafficking and firearm offences. Emma Durkan, 25, faces three charges related to drug trafficking and cannabis distribution.
Two remain in custody, while one was released. They are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
