The Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre is working to meet its goal of finding homes for 25 animals before December 24 as part of the iAdopt for the Holidays campaign. With 22 adoptions already completed this month, the centre has achieved 278 adoptions in 2023.
The holidays are an ideal time to adopt a pet, with extra time at home to help animals adjust to their new families. Every animal adopted from the Ontario SPCA is spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and goes home with Royal Canin food to ensure a smooth transition.
Even if adoption isn’t possible, supporters can help by donating to the Ontario SPCA, which relies on contributions to provide shelter and care for animals. Donations can be made at ontariospca.ca/donate.
