Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie is back for a second year. The cookies are available now until Sunday, November 24th.
Again, this year, 100% of proceeds will be going to local charities and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Funds raised in Greater Napanee will be going to support the Napanee Salvation Army Food Bank.
myFM spoke with Abby Mills, Director of Community Ministeries, who told us they’re so please to have once again been chosen by Tim Hortons Napanee to receive these funds.
Mills shared their food bank is always busy. In the past year, they have handed out over 100,000 pounds of food. She went on to note we’re living in a time where housing prices and food prices have gone crazy.
The Holiday Smile cookie is a white-chocolate sugar cookie with red and green sprinkles. Cookies cost $1.50.
If you don’t want a cookie but would still like to support the Salvation Army, their Kettle Campaign is currently underway.
